Domestic Abuse Council, Inc.
Expands DV/CPI Project!!
The Domestic Abuse Council received additional
funds to expand our Domestic Violence
and Child Welfare Program. These
funds will be used to have another advocate
working with the Department of Children &
Families and Community Partnership for
Children. The advocates are available to
offer assistance with cases in which there is
a co-occurrence of domestic violence and
child abuse. The advocate partners with the
non-offending parent and provides services
and resources that increase protective factors
in the home and enhances child safety.
This project truly represents a community
working together to end family violence!!!
