Economic Empowerment Program
Trained Advocates work with survivors in shelter and outreach towards financial independence. This program offers financial literacy classes, budgeting, assists with locating and securing independent housing, job searches, resume writing and increasing survivors credit scores. This includes financial safety planning, opening a bank account, information on micro-loans and micro-enterprises, GED Classes, enrolling in college or certificate courses, and developing a plan for saving money and becoming self sufficient.
